Tom Daschle - Secretary of Health and Human Services
Born in 1947, Daschle is married to Linda Hall, a major lobbyist. Like all of Obama's picks, no change; Daschle is an old-time democrat Washington insider. He was first elected to the House of Representatives in 1978. He moved to the US Senate in 1986.

In his 30 years feeding at the public trough, Daschle has accomplished nothing of importance. He is expected to assist Obama in getting a national healthcare scam in place. Soon, we all may be paying more for health insurance and having far less to show for it and getting taxed for it as well.

This was the third Obama nomination that was scratched. Updated 01/31/2009 It's been revealed that Tom Daschle, like Obama's Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geithner, is a tax cheat. Not only is he a tax cheat, but he hid the information from the inept one, Obama, for a month after being nominated. After snookering Obama, Daschle has paid back taxes of $128,203 plus interest of $11,964 for unreported income of about $225,000 for the years of 2005, 2006 and 2007. That averages to $75,000 of income per year that Daschle failed to report to the IRS. $75,000 is more than most Americans earn in a year. Daschle had income in the millions. One must wonder how a career "public servant" could become a millionaire. Well, just look at his boss, Obama; Obama has done absolutely nothing and has become a millionaire, also. The answer is simple, folks. They are stealing from you, hard working Americans. Their socialist message of "spread the wealth around" is taking your hard earned cash, pocketing a lot of it for themselves and then giving the remainder to the lazy democrat bums on welfare and illegal immigrants. They in turn keep voting these thieves back into office. Daschle not only under reported his income, but he also lied to the IRS and said he gave far more to charity than he really did. Daschle is the thief that Barack Hussein Obama has chosen to run the country's healthcare. Just in case the government hasn't gotten all of your money, they are about to do so through the guise of nationalized healthcare.
