America's Freedoms Under Attack: Socialism - Day 557

Steven Chu - Secretary of Department of Energy
Steven ChuPassing over Al Gore, Obama chose Steven Chu for his Secretary of the Energy Department. Like Gore, Chu has also won a Nobel Prize. Unlike Gore, Chu actually earned his. Although, a bright man, there are some disturbing issues with Chu, just as there are with all of Obama's picks.

Born in 1948, Chu's specialty is not energy, but physics. Some will argue that they are one and the same. However, this is a political position and not one that requires the knowledge of a physicist. In other words, Chu may be good a cooling lasers for the late Ma Bell, he may not have a clue that we need to drill for oil and maintain our coal industry.

Apparently, Chu isn't that intelligent. He appears to be a believer in the global warming religion. He worked at the liberal loony bin of Berkeley trying to reduce the so-called greenhouse emissions. Chu thinks that climate change is a direct result of human activity. Poor Chu seems not to understand that carbon dioxide is not a cause of global warming. Chu is another example of an educated idiot.

So, Chu may end up following the Messiah's instructions to not allow drilling in our own country for oil and force the coal industry into bankruptcy. Then he will help force all of us into electric cars that can't go much over 40 miles before they need to be recharged overnight. Lastly, without coal, which is used to produce well over 50% of our electrical energy, Chu will wonder why there is not enough electricity to charge the electric cars.

Chu is also part of a scandal. He was named as an employee that received improper compensation from the University of California. In other words, he took money from his employer in which he was not entitled to receive. Chu should fit in well with Obama's other criminal associates.
