Robert
Reich - Economic Advisor
Born
in 1946, Robert Reich is the former Secretary of Labor; another throwback to the
failed Clinton administration. Reich is also a former professor of economics.
In other words, what he knew was only theory and had no practical knowledge to
put to use.
Reich was an Obama supporter simply because no one except an ignorant
democrat would hire him.
Time magazine named him one of the top ten most successful
cabinet members. That should speak volumes of how unqualified he is. Surprisingly,
the Wall Street Journal named him among their top twenty business thinkers. However,
when you look at the list, it's clear they just threw him in to appease the left.
Yes,
Reich has a long list of accolades. However, like Obama, he has never done anything
other than to write about what he has never done.
Rahm
Emanuel, Obama's Chief of Staff, must love Reich. Emanuel stands only about
five feet five inches tall, but towers over Reich who is four feet, ten inches.
Now let's be clear, Reich is a liberal. The other day while pondering Obama's
make-work plan he stated, "If construction jobs go mainly to white males
who already dominate the construction trades, many people who need jobs the most,
women, minorities and the poor and long-term unemployed, will be shut out."
That's code for Affirmative Action.
While minorities will embrace such a stance,
what Reich is actually saying is that white males are far more productive and
skilled than women or minorities. If they get Obama's make-work jobs, there will
be no way that women or people of color will be able to compete.
This illustrates
how the liberals view women and minorities. The left thinks that women and minorities
are too stupid to get jobs. Not only do the liberals believe this, but they count
on it. The more people that they can get to be dependent on government, the longer
they will stay in power. Just look at what 60 years of liberal entitlement government
did to New Orleans. When hurricane Katrina was forecasted to hit them, most just
sat and waited for the government to help them.
Reich need not worry. Obama's
make-work plan is basically digging holes one day and filling them up the next
day. Qualified workers will hardly need such jobs, no matter what their skin color
or gender is.
