Kathleen
Sebelius - Secretary of Health and Human Services
Born
in 1948, Sebelius is the democrat governor of Kansas. She is a graduate of the
University of Kansas. She has served as a congresswoman and as the Kansas state
insurance commissioner. Her father is former democrat governor of Ohio John Gilligan.
Sebelius
is a typical tax-and-spend liberal. She is Obama's second choice for the position.
Tom Daschle had to withdraw his name
from contention when it was learned that he was a tax cheat on top of being a
lobbyist.
Sebelius is also a hypocrite like Nancy
Pelosi. Both say they are Catholics, but endorse abortions. She doesn't believe
in capital punishment, but killing babies is okay. On another hypocritical note,
Sebelius says she supports the right of citizens to own firearms, just so long
as they can't actually use them.
The selection of Sebelius completes the throwing
of former DNC chairman Howard Dean under the proverbial bus. Dean is a medical
doctor and was considered to be a potential pick for this position after the Daschle
debacle.
Just revealed, Sebelius is also a tax
cheat. The democrats and Obama have circled the wagons on this nominee. At this
rate, Obama will have his cabinet filled at just about the time he'll be issuing
pardons to his nominees at the end of his term. |
