Hillary
Clinton - Secretary of State
It's
official, Obama named Hillary Clinton as his pick for Secretary of State. Her
confirmation is virtually assured as no one in the senate will be sorry to see
her go. Of course, that may be opening the door for Bill to fill her vacancy,
but that's another story.
Born in 1947, Hillary Rodham graduated from Yale Law
School and moved to Arkansas in 1974. A year later, she married Bill Clinton.
She gained fame as Bill's scandals grew infamous. However, Hillary carries her
own scandals:
- Attempted to nationalize healthcare and
failed due to her highly suspicious motives and secretive details
- Made
$100,000 in her first cattle futures trade which has the equivalent of odds of
happening as does hitting the lottery
- Fired the White House travel
staff in what became known as the Travel-gate scandal
- The only First
Lady subpoenaed to testify before a federal grand jury and answered that she couldn't
recall to over 100 questions
- Claimed Bill's affair with Monica Lewinsky
was a rumor created by a "vast, right-wing conspiracy"
- Involved
in the scandalous Whitewater Realty scam
- "Missing" Rose
Law Firm billing papers mysteriously turned up in the White House
- Had
her attorney Vincent Foster's office ransacked immediately after he committed
"suicide" and removed evidence before police arrived
Yes
the same woman that said Obama wasn't qualified to be the president, the same
woman that Obama's instructed his minions to attack and the same woman whose husband
claimed Obama played the race card, is the woman Obama chooses to be Secretary
of State.
Some claim it was the price he had to pay to get her to release
her delegates, others say it's to keep a closer eye on his enemy. In any event,
one must wonder why he chooses someone who is so at odds with his stated foreign
policy.
