Hilda
Solis - Secretary of Labor
Born
in 1957, Hilda Solis is a typical liberal democrat: A hypocrite. She claims to
be Roman-Catholic, yet she believes in the killing of the unborn.
Obama nominated
this particular liberal hypocrite simply because she is a Hispanic woman.
She
has spent her political career as nothing more than a union thug. Her father was
a Teamsters union thug steward and her mother worked for Mattel as a union member.
Solis
was admitted to California State Polytechnic University in Pomona on an Affirmative
Action plan called "Educational Opportunity Program." That's code for,
"not qualified, but it meets our race quota."
From there, Solis continued
to surpass her levels of incompetence. She served in the failed Carter administration's
Office of Hispanic Affairs. That was a position created to give a reason to put
a female Hispanic in Carter's government. There's absolutely nothing wrong with
having a female Hispanic in government, unless she's not qualified.

02/05/2009 Issues have just been discovered that may torpedo
Solis' nomination. Her husband just paid thousands of dollars in back taxes to
clear liens that go back 16 years. As a result, today's senate hearing was canceled. Democrats
were quick to blame her husband for the tax problems. This is very ironic for
the champion if "unions." Apparently, her support does not extend to
her own marital union. However, you can bet she would claim his assets as community
property should they have divorced. Even before the tax cheating
was revealed, Solis was caught with a conflict of interest. She was secretly lobbying
for her own bill. The bill is designed to intimidate workers into joining a union
by taking away their right to a secret ballot. It turns out
that Solis is the treasure for the group called "American Rights at Work"
which is a play on words to make one think that it means "right to work."
Right to work laws allow workers to not have to join a union to get a job. This
group is a union PAC and she is not allowed to lobby for an organization to which
she not only belongs, but is an officer. Since democrats can't
obtain political funding without stealing from workers under the guise of union
dues, they need all workers to pay union dues by forcing them into joining a union. Solis
is simply a tax cheat and a union thug.

Following
the Reagan revolution that ousted Carter in a landslide, Solis was demoted to
the Office of Management and Budget's civil rights division as a management analyst.
Not being able to do real work, she quit, as all liberals do. She returned to
California to become the Director of the California Student Opportunity and Access
Program. The same program that allowed her access to a school she was not qualified
to attend.
In California, she was elected to the State Assembly. There she backed
a bill to allow illegal immigrants to attend California colleges, if they were
state residents. In other words, Solis decided that if you could sneak across
the border illegally, you were now a resident of California and deserved taxpayer
money.
After one term, she moved to the State Senate. There she continued her
Affirmative Action nonsense and union thug activities. Next, she moved to the
House of Representatives as a congress women from the state's 31st district.
Basically,
Solis is the poster-child for the union. She's unqualified and demands more money
and benefits for those who also are unskilled and unqualified. As we can see from
today's American automakers, the unions have become nothing but parasites that
eventually kill their hosts.
