Christopher
Hill - American Ambassador to Iraq
Hill
was born in 1952 and currently serves as a diplomat as the Assistant Secretary
of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs.
While Hill has a lot of experience
with Asian affairs, he has absolutely no experience with issues in the Middle
East and absolutely no experience with terrorism, which is the mainstay of politics
in that region.
Also, while Hill had been an integral part of dealing with North
Korea and their nuclear ambitions, it is clear he failed. North Korea is again
threatening nuclear war. They have restarted their nuclear weapons plan and as
of this writing (03/15/2009) are planning to test launch a missile capable of
carrying a nuclear warhead that could reach the United States.
Of course, the
North Koreans may have just been upset by Hillary
Clinton on her recent visit as Secretary of State. With Hillary in that position
and Obama guiding policy, the United States will be spineless in negotiating with
hostile nations.
